About Elder Warriors

The Elder Warriors Gaming Clan began with childhood friends Grundy, Bartist, and RifleDropper playing Doom2 together in 1994. Through the years we played about every fps game that came out but we didn't start playing online heavily until SofII. We then moved into MoHAA and played that until vCoD and then UO and we've played it ever since. We continued playing UO together under various "clan" names until we came up with [EW] in 2004. (The name comes from the fact that we are far older than the average gamer so we were "elder warriors".)

Through all of this we ran our server from one of our homes over the years until we decide to try renting a server in May 2008. To our surprise the server quickly took off and took it's place among the busiest little servers in UO. This, as well as constantly being asked if we were recruiting, helped us decide to go public with the clan and start accepting members. We had no idea that it would grow into what it has become and we now have over 80 members of all ages and backgrounds from all over the world.
